The Case for Mindfulness in Education

Sadly, depression is now the leading cause of disability and disease worldwide (WHO), and there is evidence that nurturing mindfulness from an early age can be a powerful step towards prevention, resilience, and lasting emotional wellbeing and happiness.

The purpose of Bright Little Minds is to enhance and strengthen the PSHE and mental health aspects of the UK school curriculum or as extracurricular support.

Value & Benefits

Mindfulness in Education is about introducing children to skills as early as possible to support their lifelong wellbeing. It also benefits educators, including stress regulation and reduction, increased self-compassion and teaching efficacy

High on the Government Agenda

Mindfulness and mental health wellbeing is a key area of focus as mental health is high on the Agenda of Governments, Schools, Teachers and Parents. Amid the numerous pressures and ever-growing targets faced by schools, Bright Little Minds provide valuable additional support to enhance children's wellbeing.

Little Minds, Big Pressure

In today's fast-paced world of smartphones, social media/technology, artificial intelligence, comparison and distraction it is important that we empower children with skills and tools to build self awareness, confidence, and resilience to navigate life and challenges.

Goal & Vision

Bright Little Minds helps children develop confidence, build self-awareness, and better understand their emotions. Through playful, engaging practices, children learn to recognise their feelings and respond to them in healthy ways. This foundation of emotional intelligence supports self-regulation, foster inner calm and happiness, and can significantly reduce feelings of stress and anxiety.
