Hello, I'm Karen (often known as Kazza!)

Bright Little Minds

- Mindfulness For Growing Stars

With a background in midwifery and many years of mindfulness practice, I created Bright Little Minds to share the transformative power of mindfulness with families and children.

As a long-term mindfulness meditation practitioner, I have completed many mindfulness-based programs to deepen my understanding and support my well-being.

I began my teacher training journey in 2016 with a course in Mindfulness-Based Childbirth and Parenting (MBCP), and since then, I have been offering childbirth preparation classes to expectant parents.

I have been deeply moved by the positive impact these simple yet powerful mindfulness tools have had on birthing individuals and their parenting.

After many years supporting birthing families and teaching mindfulness to adults, I felt a growing desire to explore the other passion of mine— working with Children. And that’s how Bright Little Minds was born.

Recently I trained with the Mindfulness in Schools Project  (UK) and as a trained dots and Paws b I am certified to teach age-appropriate mindfulness curriculum for children age 3-11 years old.

My mission is to share the gift of mindfulness, with the hope of helping to change the trajectory of mental health for future generations.

Sadly, depression is now the leading cause of disability and disease worldwide (WHO). There is strong evidence that nurturing mindfulness from an early age can be a powerful step towards prevention, resilience, and lasting emotional well-being.
