What We Do - Empower Young Minds
In today's fast-paced world of smartphones/social media, peer pressure, comparison, artificial intelligence and distraction we empower children with skills and tools to help them navigate life with greater ease.

The classroom-based mindfulness curriculum offered by Bright Little Minds are called 'dots' and 'Paws b' and developed by the Mindfulness in Schools Project (MiSP). It is an international, not-for-profit charity for young people and schools. See comprehensive curriculum here

The Benefits -
Incorporating daily healthy mindfulness habits can significantly alleviate stress, anxiety, and sadness. By practicing basic techniques learned, children cultivate a sense of inner calm and overall happiness. Help your little star practice what they learn in class.
Embracing these habits as part of their routine can foster a more balanced and joyful life. There is evidence that nurturing mindfulness from an early age can be a powerful step towards prevention, resilience and lasting wellbeing.

Cost to parents as an extracurricular course -
The Dots course (age 3-6) is a 30 session curriculum split into 3 sets of 10 short sessions = £34.99 per child
The Paws b course (age 7-11) is a 12 session curriculum grouped into pairs and delivered over a term = £21.99 per child

OR
Does your child (sometimes):
-
Feel anxious going to school?
-
Need support in understanding their emotions & feelings?
-
Feel overwhelmed and it's affecting their mood?
-
Need help with winding down after school or in the evening?
-
Find it difficult to manage anger, and behaviour is affected?
-
Have difficulty falling asleep?
-
Feels frustrated and don't know how to deal with it?
-
Have low self-esteem and need confidence building?

Well, YOU'RE NOT ALONE! Being a parent or a carer to a child can be incredibly challenging. Be kind to yourself and know you are doing a fantastic job. Mindfulness practice can support both parents and children to help take care of themselves.

When things get loud, busy, or overwhelming:
-
Put your hand on your heart.
-
Inhale for 4... exhale for 6... three times
-
Say quietly: "I'm here. Im steady. This moment will pass"

This teaches your child:
-
That adults feel things too
-
That it's safe to pause
-
That calm is a skill, not a personality trait
